CEDIA Expo Announces “The Launchpad” Opportunity for New Brands to Showcase Products – rAVe [PUBS]

CEDIA Expo has just announced “The Launchpad”. The Launchpad creates “a necessary platform for new companies to showcase their brand and technology to the home tech industry.” The Launchpad is designed to showcase brands that have been in business for less than three years and have never exhibited at CEDIA Expo.

CEDIA Expo showcased The Launchpad as an opportunity for emerging brands to bring their products to market. Brands included in The Launchpad will participate in the TechStarter competition and pitch short business pitches to CEDIA Expo’s panel of expert industry judges. Judges will evaluate brands on their products, innovations, opportunities, and marketing and sales strategies. Top brands will be named at CEDIA Expo 2022 TechStarter FIVE. They will receive special benefits to promote their new ventures to the media, attendees and customers. The program will conclude with a panel discussion of the TechStarter judges on the Smart Stage and the selection of the Launchpad TechStarter grand prize winner.

Current brands participating in The Launchpad at CEDIA Expo 2022 include:

  • Adaptive Design Group, Inc.

guardDog.ai, a creator of cybersecurity solutions for consumers and businesses, has been selected as the winner of The Launchpad TechStarter competition at CEDIA Expo 2021. Kelly Ryan, Director of Business Development for guardDog.ai, added, “The Launchpad provided a platform to showcase our cybersecurity protection product for IoT devices. It was amazing to launch our product on the same stage as Microsoft, Cisco and many others. The Launchpad and Propel program through CEDIA was the best we could do to launch our product into the home automation industry.

“We recognize that new businesses need exposure to propel their brands to market,” said Jason McGraw, CTS, Group Vice President, CEDIA Expo and KBIS, Emerald. “The Launchpad is designed to showcase new brands and innovations and provide them with unparalleled publicity and an opportunity to engage with industry integrators, representatives and distributors. We are excited to welcome these new companies to CEDIA Expo, the chain’s largest event in North America.

The Launchpad has been an essential platform for companies to launch their brands and gain exposure to the custom install community. Some of today’s industry-leading brands, including AXIS, Domotz, Josh.ai, and HDMI Staffing, have used The Launchpad (formerly Innovation Alley) to introduce their brands to the home tech industry. Brands interested in joining The Launchpad can submit an application to participate.
