Ford will supply engines to EC

BOTHELL, WA/ACCESSWIRE/July 20, 2022/ VaporBrands International, Inc. dba E-Cite Motors Group, (OTC PINK: VAPR) has confirmed it has established a relationship while Ford will provide its discounted Eluminator M-9000-MACHE engines to E-Cite Motors for use in its new affordable EV sports car named “E-CGT”

Ford Eluminator E-Cite engine

The engine is shared by Fords Newest Mustang Mach E GT. Each motor that can be used alone or simultaneously with additional motors has:

Maximum power 210kw (281hp)

Maximum torque 430 Nm (317 lb-ft)

Maximum speed 13,800 rpm

Gear Ratio 9.051:1

Weight 93 kg / 205 lbs

COO Gene Langmesser commented: “I have worked closely with Ford for some time and have personally facilitated the purchase of hundreds of engines in the past. The ability to have such a strong supplier of state-of-the-art motors is monumental in our ability to establish E-Cite as a long-term manufacturer. We have now solved the biggest of our engineering and procurement challenges for major components.

Engine is legal in all 50 states and has been determined by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) to have no adverse effect on emissions when installed and operated properly in the applications identified in the product description . Under EPA and CARB policy, the engine is certified for installation in vehicles operated on public roads and highways.

This is currently the only application as the revolutionary Ford Eluminator engine will be supplied as an OEM engine for a newly manufactured vehicle that we are aware of.

The vehicle codenamed “E-CGT” is a two-seat sports car that looks like a modern version of a legendary vehicle produced in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The E-CGT includes also an easily removable hardtop section that stows in the front trunk while providing trunk storage space for at least two sets of golf clubs.

The vehicle will be available in both an entry-level, affordable fiberglass-bodied version and a more performance-oriented “S” version, featuring a carbon-fiber body and power and improved suspension.

E-Cite is currently assembling the prototype and plans to continue releasing additional details and photos shortly.

Unlike competitors Tesla, Nikola, Polestar, Lucid, VW, Ford, Jaguar and others, E-cite is not required to meet the safety certifications or other costly certifications of a traditional car manufacturer, making it easier and faster to offers new vehicles on a much more favorable market. While the initial lead time to be able to deliver a production vehicle to the market usually exceeds 3 years and often more at a very high cost, E-Cite plans to deliver its first production vehicles for the 2023 model year. This is less 12 months between creation and the showroom.

This is possible because E-Cites vehicles are eligible under the “Low Volume Vehicle Manufacturers Act of 2015”. a regulatory scheme that addresses the unique safety and financial issues associated with limited production, and to direct the EPA to allow manufacturers of low-volume motor vehicles to install engines from vehicles that have received conformity certificates. Although they had a year to establish this new program, it took until January 2021 for the NHSTA to issue a final decision allowing the manufacture of low-volume vehicles. By law, automakers are exempt from all safety standards, but they must meet applicable emissions standards. There are no emission standards for electric vehicles.

E-Cite Motors has developed designs that allow the production of vehicles using a skateboard style chassis or a space frame chassis using electric motors. This allows for configurations ranging from low power batteries and a single motor to a performance vehicle over 1000hp using all wheel drive and 4 motors.

Note* E-Cites vehicles are in no way categorized as “Kit Cars” as they are new manufactured vehicles.
