Maruti Ertiga is not the first car that would come to mind when you think of a high-end minivan. Ertiga is a practical and spacious minivan that is popular among private and commercial customers. The current generation Ertiga has been on the market since 2018 and earlier this year it received minor cosmetic changes. There are a variety of accessories – both original and aftermarket available for Ertiga on the market. Here we have a neatly modified ZXI Ertiga variant that has been modified with aftermarket accessories and gets a custom interior for a premium look.
The video was uploaded by VIG AUTO ACCESSORIES on their YouTube channel. As mentioned above, this is the ZXI variant which includes almost all the features offered by Maruti with Ertiga. The owner of this minivan however was not satisfied with the appearance and wanted something different and that’s why he wanted to modify the exterior and customize the interior. Starting at the front, the original grille has been retained, but the headlights are now blacked out and they now feature bespoke crystal LED daytime running lights.
The lower part of the bumper gets an Indonesian body kit which comes with black and gray highlights. The black part around the fog lights has been finished in gloss black and the lights are now LEDs. Regarding the side profile, the original 16-inch alloy wheels have been replaced by Hyundai Venue alloy wheels of the same size. A side skirt is installed and graphic stickers were also stuck on the lower part of the door. The car is finished in two-tone and the door handles are the same as the original ones.
As we move further back, more changes are visible on the car. The stock roof-mounted spoiler was replaced with a slightly larger aftermarket unit. The rear lights were also replaced. This MPV now receives a fully LED taillight made in Indonesia. There is an LED bar running across the tailgate connecting the lights. The rear bumper of the MPV also gets the Indonesian body kit with gray inserts. A set of reflector lamps is also visible on the bumper. With all these changes to the exterior, the Ertiga looks much sportier than a standard MPV. Other changes were made inside the car.
When moving in, the owner opted for the black and red theme for the interiors. The plastic trim on all doors has been finished in black and red and the door pads are all wrapped in leather. the roof lining of this Ertiga has been replaced by an all-black velor material. The dashboard and the door panels of this Ertiga have also been sheathed in leather. All four doors are fitted with sill plates with Ertiga branding. This Ertiga’s stock steering has been replaced with aftermarket units with cruise control and audio control switches. The seat covers for this Ertiga are custom made units and fit the seat perfectly. The original touchscreen infotainment was retained. Overall the car looks premium inside and has a sporty look from the outside.
