This comes just days after Sammobile announced that the One UI 5.0 beta update would begin rolling out to compatible devices in the third week of July. Let’s take a look at what the One UI 5.0 skin beta update based on Android 13 has in store for us.

From the notification center it looks bigger and the background opacity on OneUI 5 looks slightly different from One UI 4.0. It now has an OCR (Optical Character Recognition) function that detects text from images and can easily be copied and pasted. The keyboard also supports this feature – you can copy text from the camera or an image and paste it into messages.

Additionally, an Ultra-Wideband toggle has also been introduced in the Connections section of the Settings app. Security & Privacy Center now has a new design and features related to security and privacy: lock screen options, user accounts, Find My Mobile, app security, Google system updates Play and privacy features.

Additionally, Samsung reportedly added two additional animations in the Labs section on swipe to open a pop-up view and swipe to multitasking in split-screen mode. The quick settings area also displays currently active apps; an image of the phone is also displayed in the “About Phone” section. Users can share notes with up to 100 users and see all changes live instantly.
