Award-winning Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle dealership group, Rygor Commercials, is delighted to announce that work has begun on its new bespoke designed site at the locally acclaimed Worton Grange Industrial Park in Reading.
Through a robust bidding process, Rigg Construction won the tender to be the prime contractor on this £2million project. Rygor General Manager Tim Stacey confirmed that he is looking forward to the start of this exciting new development for Rygor, saying:

Rygor’s all-new site will feature a bright and open van sales showroom, offering the full range of new and used Mercedes-Benz vans, including the eSprinter Panel Van, eVito Panel Van, ‘eVito Tourer and the eCitan, all designed to help businesses stay towards a fully connected, low-carbon future.
In addition to its sales showroom, the new 44,000 square foot site hosts superb workshop spaces dedicated to trucks and vans. The truck workshop area will feature two pits with an ATF lane, a tachometer facility and a large hardstanding parking area in the workshop area, providing ample room for maneuverability even for the biggest trucks. From a van perspective, there will also be an MOT lane as well as a “quick fit” area, which will focus on express maintenance, such as wiper blade changes, tire tracking and wheel changes.
All of this is in addition to preparing van and truck workshops to fully service electric vehicles (including the FUSO eCanter, Mercedes-Benz eEconic and future Mercedes-Benz eActros), an area of service and after-sales maintenance which will gain in importance. as the Rygor business continues to invest in an electric and greener future.
