Life sciences project manager Bradley Todd brings over 30 years of experience to Shawmut, completing numerous projects for the world’s most prestigious pharmaceutical companies, including Procter & Gamble and Sanofi. As a construction operations manager with specialized expertise in life sciences, Todd provides both technical direction and guidance to the engineering, procurement and construction management process required to build effectively in the sector. Previously, Todd held positions at DPR and LR Costanzo Co. Inc.
Health project manager wayne laurent will leverage its 15 years of experience to leverage the company’s growing presence in the healthcare market and expand its building capabilities to better serve its long-standing partners across the region, including Colombia University Irving Medical Center, NewYork-Presbyterian, et al. Lawrence has overseen over $300 million in projects and has extensive experience – ranging from developing program standards for the construction of temporary health care facilities for pandemic response to medical facilities at active airports to running masters programs health systems and high-level research laboratories. He is also an active member of ASHE, AGC, USGBC and HESGNY. Previously, Lawrence held positions with Holt Construction, Structure Tone and Hunter Roberts Construction Group.
Derek Dandurand brings more than a decade of experience in the field of cultural and historic preservation to his new position as Director of Historic Preservation. Committed to the ongoing preservation and protection of cultural heritage monuments and buildings, he has a unique skill set to provide clients with technical advice throughout the cultural institution space. His years of hands-on personal experience in historic restoration, rehabilitation and project management laid the foundation for this new role as a strong advocate for quality preservation work. Dandurand has held various positions in the area, including the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission and the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation.
These new roles follow the continued market expansion in various sectors for Shawmut in new Yorkmost recently in education, culture and commercial interiors.
